100K Subscriber Speedrun — Season 1

Official Rules

The complete rules of the race, in plain language. The card below is the short version. The numbered sections are the full terms.

Effective September 1, 2026

TL;DR · The Short Version

01The Race

First channel to 100,000 YouTube subscribers wins.

Registration is rolling. The door never closes. When you register, we capture your channel's public subscriber count server-side and timestamp it. That count is your baseline: your starting line for the season.

Season 1 ends the moment the first channel in the race crosses 100,000 subscribers. Two ways that can happen:

  • An entrant crosses first. That entrant wins the Grand Prize, after verification.
  • Vic's own channel crosses first. The Grand Prize expires unawarded.

Either way, we freeze the runner-up standings at that moment.

Runner-up prizes reward total growth from your baseline to season close. The earlier you register, the more growth you can bank. That head start is deliberate. Join early.

There is no fee to enter. No purchase is necessary. The way in is the application form at systemsbyvic.com/100ksignup, open to members and non-members alike. Membership in the paid community buys training, tools, and the community itself; it never buys entry, and it has no effect on eligibility, scoring, or judging.

02Season Start

Applications are open now. Season 1 racing begins at kickoff; we announce the start date.

The baseline we captured at your application stands. Nothing you do between applying and kickoff costs you anything.

03Prizes

Grand Prize · $500 USD · Conditional

The first verified entrant to reach 100,000 subscribers during the season wins the $500 Grand Prize. This prize is conditional: if no entrant crosses 100,000 before the season ends, it is voided and not awarded.

Runner-Up Prizes · Two × $100 USD · Guaranteed

The two eligible entrants with the greatest verified net subscriber growth, measured from locked baseline to season close, win $100 each. A Grand Prize winner does not also take a runner-up slot. We award both runner-up prizes whether or not anyone reaches 100,000.

04Eligibility

To enter and stay eligible:

  • You have reached the age of majority in your province, territory, or state.
  • You are in Canada or the United States. Void where prohibited.
  • You enter one channel. One channel per entrant.
  • You have an existing, public YouTube channel when you apply. We verify it automatically. If your link does not resolve to a channel, your application is not accepted; you get an email asking you to resubmit with a working channel link or @handle.
  • You own and control the channel. Your entry binds to your channel ID. Sell, transfer, merge, or swap the handle mid-season and your entry is out of the race.
  • Your channel is human, talking-head, and educational. AI-generated faceless channels and synthetic channels cannot enter. We screen at registration and re-check at verification. If we rule your channel out, you get one reconsideration; after that, the ruling is final.
  • Your channel stays live, strike-free, and compliant with YouTube's Terms of Service for the full season.
  • Your subscriber count is under Vic's at the moment you register. You see his live count on the registration page. The later you join, the higher that bar sits.

Vic's channels, his team, and his household cannot enter. Clients of Vic's paid coaching program can enter. If a client wins a prize, we disclose that the winner is a client.

05Growth Rules

Organic growth only. Break the rules in this section and we disqualify you.

Banned

  • Bots and purchased subscribers.
  • Sub-for-sub.
  • Artificial incentives to subscribe.
  • Paid promotion of any kind: Google Ads, YouTube ads, any form of paid views.
  • Collaboration and shoutout growth schemes.
  • Giveaways run to earn subscribers.

Format Requirements

  • At least 90% of prize-winning subscriber growth must come from long-form videos. Shorts can carry at most 10%. We measure this at verification, from the video-attributed subscriber reports in your YouTube Studio.
  • Upload at least 3 long-form videos during the season. Fewer than 3 and you are not prize-eligible.
  • At least 50% of your season growth must come from videos you post during the season. Old videos can carry at most half.

06Verification & Winning

The public leaderboard is provisional. No result is official until we verify it.

The Call

To claim any prize position, you take a live screen-share verification call with Vic or his team. On the call, you walk through your YouTube Studio for the season window: subscriber sources, top videos, traffic sources. We offer three scheduling options across 10 business days. Refuse or miss the call and you forfeit the prize. We then offer it to the next eligible entrant.

The Decision

We issue a verification decision within 10 business days of receiving your evidence. You may request one written reconsideration. After that, our decisions are final.

Before Payment

A confirmed winner answers a skill-testing question (standard for Canadian contests) and signs a one-page Declaration & Release covering eligibility, liability release, and publicity consent. We pay after both are done.

The Data

We record subscriber counts for each channel in the race, once a day. That recorded data is the authoritative record. If it disagrees with what your dashboard shows, the recorded data governs. If YouTube purges spam subscribers before final verification, we adjust the recorded counts to match. Purges that land after results are final do not reopen them. Win a prize on false statements and you must return it on demand.

Ties

Higher percentage growth from baseline wins. If still tied, the earlier registration timestamp wins. If still tied after that, the tied entrants split the prize.

07Your Data

At application we collect your form answers, your contact info, and your channel's public statistics. We pull the statistics through YouTube's public API and check them once a day.

Applying means you accept two things as part of these rules:

  1. Vic's team may contact you by email, phone, or DM about your application and the challenge.
  2. Your channel name, avatar, and subscriber counts appear on the public leaderboard.

We use this data to run the challenge, build the leaderboard, and contact you as described above. We do not sell it.

Where it lives: your application and your channel statistics sit in our CRM (Airtable), your email address sits in our email system (Listmonk, sending through Postmark), and the leaderboard shows only your channel name, avatar, and subscriber counts. Nobody outside the Sponsor's team sees your email or phone number. We keep application data for the season and one year after it closes, then delete it. Withdraw at any time by emailing contact@socialgravity.ca; we remove you from the leaderboard within five business days and stop contacting you about the challenge.

09General Terms

The Sponsor is Laranja Digital Inc., Ontario, Canada. Entering means accepting these rules in full.

Vic has final say on everything in this challenge: who is eligible, who wins, and whether a prize pays out. The Sponsor may disqualify any entry, void any prize, or modify, suspend, or cancel the challenge itself, at any time, for any reason, without liability. Sections 4 and 6 each allow one reconsideration; beyond those, decisions are final. Void where prohibited.

Prizes pay out within 15 business days of verification, by PayPal or an equivalent transfer, only into an account held in the winner's own legal name. One prize per entrant. No transfers or substitutions. Taxes on a prize are the winner's responsibility.

We may update these rules; the current version at this URL governs.

Ontario law governs these rules.

We make no income promises. Nothing in these rules or this contest guarantees that any channel reaches 100,000 subscribers. Your chances of winning depend on the number of entrants and the performance you achieve. Entering does not create a coaching or advisory relationship between you and the Sponsor.
